Calli Perry

Calli (she/her/hers) is currently a Master’s level candidate at Wayne State University earning her Clinical Mental Health and Art Therapy degree.

Art therapy offers clients the opportunity to use creative media to explore feelings, conflicts, behaviors, and other life experiences in order to aid the individual in reaching, or returning to, a comfortable state. As an artist herself, Calli combines her knowledge of lifespan development, psychology, counseling techniques, and the creative process in an art therapy session focused on discovery and improvement for the client.

Calli offers a safe space for clients to work through life experiences via creative expression, allowing for more than words to be exchanged during sessions. With recognition that there is no one size fits all approach to therapy, Calli applies a humanistic, person-centered perspective to all clients to make therapy tailored to each individual. Her interests include working with children and adolescents, transgender youth, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Calli currently takes sliding scale and self-pay clients.
